Even Longer Distance With More Forgiveness
The Titleist 716 AP1 Irons are the longest, most forgiving iron for golfers seeking maximum distance and maximum forgiveness.
An extreme 360° undercut cavity creates a large, thin, unsupported face that increases both speed and launch for more distance. High-density tungsten drives the center of gravity low, allowing stronger lofts to create even more speed and more distance.
The use of extreme, high-density tungsten moves weight to the perimeter, thus increasing moment of inertia for speed on off-center hits. The forgiving High-MOI design – with 50 percent more tungsten than prior generation 714, an average of 42.5 grams of tungsten per head – maximises heel and toe stability without increasing AP1’s preferred blade length, while producing higher ball speeds across the face for more consistent distance on off-centre hits.
Complete with a new thin and fast face, the 716 AP1 deliveries increased balls speeds off the club face for distance never seen before from a Titleist iron.
