Terms & Conditions

Orders

During your shopping visit items you select are placed into a shopping basket. When you have finished shopping select Checkout located on the right hand side of the page. You will then be given a choice of ordering Online or Offline :-

Offline Orders
You can enter an e-mail address for the order form to be sent to. This can either be faxed or posted to us, once fully completed. At this point your shopping basket is emptied.

Please do not send cash via the post.

Online Orders

You can buy items online via a secure credit card ordering system. We accept PAYPAL, VISA, MASTER CARD, SWITCH, DELTA cards. Please note overseas buyers we will not be able to process your order via card online… however paypal payment can be processed however there will be charges to ship to international destinations You are transferred to a secure section of the site (see security). Please complete the details as requested. When fully completed, click on “Submit Order Now” button. You will receive an automated e-mail response confirming that your order has been processed. At the same time, we will receive notification of your order.

Your credit card is processed by Protx , and the items picked and packed ready to ship. We delete all electronic records of your credit card number and personal details. We keep a copy of the invoice and the credit card receipt Online Fraud Due to increasing attempts at fraud with online orders, especially from outside the UK ,

Snainton Golf Centre Ltd reserves the right to decline any order that we deem not to be genuine. If this is the case an alternative method of payment can be discussed… We also do not send out credit card receipts with your invoice, as this holds your credit card number. If you would like this copy, we can arrange for it to be posted to you, but this is at your own risk.

Payment

Payment will be taken as soon as the card is accepted. If you get a notification for any reason the card has been un successful then no payment will be taken from your card and we will be in touch to help you. If payment is by cheque, or pending ‘e’ cheque via paypal – the goods will be dispatched once the cheque has cleared.

Paypal payments will be directed to the paypal site where you can then pay for your goods. Any other payments to us can be made by clicking ‘send money’ on the top of your paypal account and entering our e-mail address – john@snaintongolf.co.uk
Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers must be redeemed online at snaintongolf.co.uk within 180 days of purchase and cannot be used for Orders already placed. If the value of the Order exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card. Unused balances will be held within the recipients voucher for the same period. Vouchers have a cash redemption value of 0.001p. If you have received a promotional gift voucher from Snainton Golf Centre Ltd, only one such Gift Voucher may be redeemed per purchase.

All online orders are processed securely using 128bit SSL encryption and totally secure…. vital for todays transcations If you do not wish to order online then please see Offline Orders above.

Complaints

Snainton Golf Centre Ltd strives to provide the highest level of customer service. If you feel that we have not met that aim, then please e-mail us at john@snaintongolf.co.uk

Your initial complaint will receive a response within 24 hours, informing you of time scales to address your complaint. Your complaint will be dealt with fairly and as quickly as possible, in a confidential manner. If the complaint can not be resolved immediately you will receive a weekly update on progress. Any information gathered through this procedure is used to monitor and improve our operating practices and procedures. Deliveries

For Nearly all UK and International orders we use www.interlinkexpress.co.uk.

For very small packages (ie Gloves and Caps) we use Royal Mail.

It is the consumers responsibility to provide us with an address where delivery can be signed for in reasonable time. If delivery is refused or returned after three attempts it incurs a £12 resend charge AND £12 if it comes back to us. This charge will be passed onto you If you are not at home.

PLEASE ENSURE

  • notification can be given to an address where you will be there to accept the parcel
  • sending us an email with special instructions to leave in a garage or with a neighbour.
  • arranging for someone to be at the desired address once you receive the despatch e-mail telling you its on its way.

Please be understanding with us or UK mail if they try to deliver and you know you are not going to be at home and incur further charges. We can only send on the information we are given.

When an item is despatched an e mail explains your order is on its way. In the Uk that usually means next working day delivery. If you receive the email after 3pm this means it will be with you within 48 working hours. The despatch of goods from order is usually within the following timescales:

  • UK mainland – 2 to 4 working days (unless there is an delay issue where we will notify you via e mail).
  • Europe – 3 to 4 working days.

We do not ship outside of Europe For redirection to a different address when the parcel has already been sent will cost £10… remember it is your responsibility to accept goods, and we send to the address provided.

You can of course collect from any local UK mail depot… for free! Our delivery charges are as follows:

  • Mainland UK – £2.49 orders under £20 – FREE orders over £20
  • Northern Ireland-as above
  • Channel Islands – £12
  • Ireland – £9.99 (free over £150)
  • Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, France, Denmark, Germany (£12.99 up to 25kilos) (free over £150)
  • Italy, Corsica, Spain, Portugal, Czech, Sicily, (£14.95 up to 25kilos) free over (£175)

Money Back

Guarantee All items have a 14 day contact money back guarantee. However if you are dissatisfied with your item, returns will be dealt with upon receipt unused in the manner it was delivered to you. This excludes custom fitted clubs ordered as they are bespoke to the purchasers requirements.

Consumer Rights

The statutory rights of the consumer are not affected by the terms of our service.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you need to cancel your order please phone us on 01723 850014 as soon as possible. However, as we endeavour to ship your order very quickly, it may not always be possible to cancel your order. If an item is cancelled whilst in transit, a £10 re-direction charge will be made for return of the goods back to us without reciept. If this is the case, please follow the returning goods procedure.

Custom orders can’t be cancelled please check your order thoroughly before ordering.

Returning Goods

We have split returns into two sections these are:

  • Faulty Goods
  • Unwanted Goods.

Faulty Goods under 30 days old

If you receive an item that is damaged, please inform us within a reasonable timescale.. We will offer either a replacement item to be sent, or a full refund for the item(s) only . If you request a refund we would ask that the faulty item(s) is/are returned within 30 days. If you require an exchange we will replace goods deemed faulty to ensure this deadline is met. We reserve the right to get a manufacturers inspection before we refund or exchange to verify an official decision of some complaints.

All our products carry a 12 month manufacturers warranty unless stated otherwise

Faulty good over 30 days old and upto 12 months old

Snainton Golf Centre Ltd is a stockist of all major brands. This means we over a full manufacturers warranty.

You must send the item to our HQ at Snainton with a covering letter stating what the fault is and your order id or receipt of purchase. We will contact the manufacturer who will then inspect the item to determine what course of action to take.

Cost of return carriage

Snainton Golf Centre Ltd will honour the cost of the return within the statutory 6 month period if a fault is found. After that date the consumer will have to pay to get the product back to us.

Unwanted Goods/Wrong sizing

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days commencing the day after you receive your goods. The unwanted item(s) must be returned undamaged and in original packaging (clothing with tags) to receive a full refund. We will refund the cost of the item(s), excluding courier costs – and that you return in the above condition, within 30 days from the e-mail notification of your intention to cancel. (this must be within 14 days of reciept of goods). This excludes custom fit. If you havent contacted us within this time we will take it that everything is fine the whole transaction is complete and final

If you have ordered the wrong size or goods do not fit then we will gladly exchange within 14 days of reciept, you must notify us and return the goods to us with a covering letter or return address and re sending charge of £3.99. Alternatively exchange and collection can be made direct to your home without any hassle for £14. Please call us if you would like to discuss 01723 850014
if 3 for 2 promotion is on and you return an item for refund we will only refund 50% of the price of the promotional item. Please make sure the parcel is sent recordered delivery

In the unlikely event you order custom fitted clubs and they are unwanted for any reason – we can cancel within a 24 hour period of placing the order but because of the bespoke nature items a 20% surcharge will apply.

We will not refund unwanted myjoy shoes orders or custom fitted clubs under any circumstances after you take delivery and is your responsibility to order correctly at the time of ordering your club selection so please check your order! We think 72 hours is reasonable for you to tell us if we have sent incorrect clubs from your order.
